Traf newspaper coming back to life
The Traf District News releases its first edition this week.

The local Trafalgar newspaper is coming back to life.
The former monthly published Traf News went into recess in April after battling through the COVID pandemic but striking some headwinds post pandemic.
Local resident Trevor Colvin, a retired advertising operative at The Age, believed now was the time to revive the local publication.
He and fellow locals Ric Nicolson and Michael Fozard formed a committee and expect to have the newspaper under a new masthead Traf District News hitting the presses in a matter of days for its first edition.
The publication has set up a GoFundMe page to raise funds to purchase some updated equipment.
The December issue is expected to be 24 pages and cover news and items of interest from the Trafalgar district.
The Traf News predecessor was established in the 1990s and the new committee is optimistic it will return to regular publication next year following strong interest within the community.
