Timetable changes

Extensive changes have been made to public transport timetables for the second time this year.
Launched on Sunday, more than 400 extra services were added across regional and metro services, with increased frequency on some lines, and bus services rescheduled to better line up with trains.
Despite no additional services scheduled for Gippsland, some important changes apply to timing. Several key departures from Southern Cross Station have been shifted one minute earlier.
Several eastbound services will now originate from Flinders St station, instead of Southern Cross, including 8:26am, 5:12pm and 5:52pm on weekdays, which also applies to connecting regional coaches.
The "Code A" afternoon connection has been rescheduled, previously connected with the 5pm train from Southern Cross, but now connects with the 5:12pm train departing from Flinders Street. Public transport also remains half price for everyone across every service throughout the state, until January 1.
