A Nissan Patrol was reported stolen from a house in Anzac Rd, Trafalgar last weekend.
A 2003 Nissan Patrol with registration 1JM4AH, valued at $15,000 was parked in the driveway of a property. Police believe it was locked. The theft occurred between 8pm on August 8 and 9am the following morning.
Earlier in the week, a white Subaru Impreza was stolen from a residence in McCubbin Drv, Warragul, at 4:45am Tuesday August 4.
The car, also valued at $15,000, was parked in the street. CCTV footage showed offenders getting out of a grey hatchback before leaving in the Subaru. Broken glass was left at the scene. The registration is 1LR9MR. Baw Baw CIU are investigating.
A male offender described as being in his early 20s was seen attempting to break into a grey Subaru at the Drouin Railway Carpark on Thursday, August 6. Police said at 5:07pm, the witness confronted the man, who had allegedly broken the front driver vent window in attempt to gain access, before fleeing in another vehicle, described as a white or silver 4-door hatchback.
A Subaru Outback was broken into while parked in the carpark of an aged care facility in School Rd, Trafalgar between 9pm on August 5 and and 7:30am on August 6.
Police said offenders attempted to steal the silver vehicle by gaining access through the driver side vent window, and causing significant damage to the steering column.
A 2015 silver Landcruiser was stolen from a rural property on Bloomfield Rd, Nilma North, between 5pm August 4 and 8am August 5. The car was a utility, valued at $60,000, with registration 1ZT1SE. It had been parked adjacent to a shed at the back of the property, was believed to be locked, and police said it was unclear as to how it was accessed.
