During the break in September, six players travelled to Bendigo to play in the Bendigo Gold Pickleball Tournament. It was reported that it was a very tough tournament of high standard but Chris Higgs returned home with gold in her division of Skinny Singles.
Also, during the break in September, the social Tuesday and Friday hitting continued with many new players.
A special day also was held on the grand final public holiday, raising money for the West Gippsland Hospital ward three. All money raised on the day went to the hospital.
More than 30 people attended enjoying the pickleball, sausage sizzle and raffles.
