Final bank grants for year

Community Bank Drouin recently distributed more than $42,000 to 13 community groups and organisations.
The allocation took the bank's total sponsorship and grants for the 2025/25 financial year to a final total of $263,365.
The bank also completed a dividend payment to shareholders totalling $153,937.
In the past four financial years, Drouin and District Community Financial Services has returned almost $1.6 million via grants, donations, community investments and dividends to shareholders.
Since it began 24 years ago, the bank has returned more than $7.4 million back to its community.
Funds were distributed to:
Hallora Marathon Running Festival - sponsorship for 2026 event;
Drouin Secondary College HPV team - sponsorship for the 2026 team. Last year's students rode 802km in 24 hours and this year's team has set a goal to ride 900km.
Warragul Bowling Club - chairman's invitation day tournament;
Variety Bash, Team Elvis - sponsorship for the 2026 bash;
A Girls' Day Out - support for 2026 event;
Ghostlight Theatre - sponsorship of the production Sweeney Todd;
Warragul RSL and Baw baw Veterans and Families Centre - funds to purchase an awning;
Warragul Tennis Club - fund to purchase a dry court roller;
Drouin CFA - purchase of a defibrillator and trauma kit;
Warragul Swimming Club - sponsorship;
Hallora Cricket Club - sponsorship;
Olivia's Place - sponsorship for 2026 gala evening;
Drouin Golf and Country Club - strategic partnership.
Sponsorship also was presented to a previous recipient - Warragul Drouin RSL Bowls Club for their annual Diggers Day event.
