Hit and run ends in fire

Police are investigating an incident of a hit and run collision in Warragul yesterday morning, that culminated in a deliberate car fire.
Police said a grey Subaru Impreza was travelling along Stoddarts Rd at 6:15am when it was involved in a collision.
The car was driven away from the scene before being located at the end of Trumpy Lane about 10 minutes later where it had been set on fire.
Investigations remain ongoing into identifying the car and whether it was stolen, and why the arson may have occurred.
