Burglaries at schools, club

Three schools, a hall and a bowling club were targeted in a series of burglaries last week.
Police are appealing for any CCTV from the vicinity of the schools and facilities to assist investigations.
Water hydrants were turned on and snacks stolen from a staff room at Warragul Regional College on Thursday night.
Police said a number of buildings were broken into at the Burke St school at about 11.30pm.
It followed angle grinders being used to force entry into multiple buildings at Chairo Christian School in Drouin last Tuesday night. It is unknown what was taken from the Balfour Rd school.
On the same night, Drouin South Primary School was broken into. Nothing was stolen.
The neighbouring Drouin South Public Hall on Westernport Rd also was broken into, with a children's play parachute reported stolen.
Yarragon Bowls Club on Yarragon-Shady Creek Rd was hit twice in three days.
Police said offenders forced entry to the clubrooms and a shed overnight last Tuesday.
They were unable to establish if any items were stolen.
The previous break-in occurred two days prior.
