Warragul Highway Patrol members arrested a 52-year-old Morwell man allegedly involved in a Longwarry hit-and-run on Sunday.
Police received reports that a vehicle had hit and damaged another car in Longwarry at 1.27pm on Sunday before leaving the scene.
The vehicle was identified in Yarragon, and police arrested the driver, who was also wanted on outstanding warrants.
The alleged hit-and-run is being investigated.
