A red Kia Sorento reported stolen from Silvertop Drv, Yarragon on Thursday night was found burnt out in Waterloo Rd.
Police said the theft occurred between 10.30pm on Thursday and 12.45am on Friday. At that time, the vehicle was located on fire.
The vehicle had been locked and the victim still had possession of the keys.
In the second incident, a vehicle set on fire in Silbys Rd, Darnum on Saturday morning was identified as stolen from Warragul.
Police said the 2018 Toyota Landcruiser had been reported stolen from Skyline Drv, Warragul on Wednesday, September 25.
It had been parked in front of a residential premises with a trailer attached at the time. The victim still has the keys.
The vehicle was possibly involved in an evade police incident in Meeniyan on Thursday, September 26.
It was dumped in a secluded section of Silbys Rd. Destroyed by the fire, it was only identified via its Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
The third burnt out vehicle was located at Neerim East by Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) staff from Noojee.
The vehicle was located on Hawthorn Bridge at the intersection of Kings Rd and Latrobe River Rd.
It is believed it was dumped and set alight between 5pm on Saturday, September 14 and 3pm on Monday, September 16.
Due to the extensive nature of the fire, police were unable to identify it. However, returning to the site last week, police located a partial registration plate and believe it to be a vehicle stolen from Sundew Cres, Pakenham overnight on Saturday, September 14.
