Santa display damaged

A unique Christmas display in Yarragon has been tampered with and the head of a Santa stolen.
Paul Edwards of Yarragon has had the same display of Santa sitting atop an FJ Holden each Christmas for about 10 years. But this Christmas season has not been so cheery.
The Santa mannequin usually sits on top of the car on Mr Edwards' property and is surrounded by festive ornaments, stockings and tinsel.
But on Friday, December 2 Santa's head was stolen by unknown people overnight.
Mr Edwards said he contacted police, who are investigating the incident.
He said students travelling on the school bus often looked out for his display, and it was disappointing it had been tampered with this year.
