Roadshow presents health messages

The Gippsland Women's Health regional roadshow will roll into Baw Baw Shire next week for the organisation's 30th anniversary.
The 'Healthy Women, Healthy Gippsland' Tour is an opportunity for women in Gippsland to connect with the Gippsland Women's Health (GWH) team and talk about what they need to support their safety, health and wellbeing.
GWH is currently seeking information about how the health, safety and wellbeing of Gippsland women can be improved. The "Healthy Women, Healthy Gippsland survey" has been set up by the organisation for anyone wanting to provide feedback.
The survey is open to all community members regardless of gender and there is an option to remain anonymous.
The Baw Baw segment of the roadshow tour will kick off on Tuesday October 11 in Trafalgar with a GWH pop-up (location yet to be announced). The team will be around town on a minibus from 10am to 2pm . Women are encouraged to stop by and pick up some useful resources, and roadshow gift bags and chat with the team.
On Wednesday October 12 in Warragul, between 10am and 11.30am GWH chief executive officer Kate Graham will cover the impacts of COVID-19 and natural disasters on women in Gippsland, and Leanne Fairbrother will talk about the 2022 16 Days of Activism campaign (location yet to be announced).
There also will be a pop-up in Warragul from 1pm to 4pm at the Burke St Reserve.
Thursday October 14 will see Marleigh Andrews and Jean Hailes visit the Drouin Library from 10am to 11.30am to present "Are You Covered" - a presentation about pelvic pain. From 1pm to 4pm Thursday there will be a GWH pop-up at Longwarry Memorial Park.
