Police are investigating an incident in which a man allegedly impersonated an off-duty police officer on Sunday, December 4.
Police said the victim was driving along Lardners Trk near Danes Rd at 10.15am when a grey Honda CRV stopped in front of their vehicle.
A man allegedly got out of the vehicle and accused the victim of not obeying the road rules, claiming he was an off-duty police officer and would be booking them for the offence. He took note of the victim's registration plates and left the scene.
The victim later contacted police as they had not committed a road offence.
Police have acquired dashcam footage of the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
