New directors for regional library

Three independent directors have been appointed to the regional library service, Myli.
The service, known as West Gippsland Libraries until December last year, operates across the Baw Baw, Bass Coast and South Gippsland shires with a total of 14 fixed libraries plus mobile library services.
The independent directors join representatives from the three shires on the board.
Baw Baw councillor Annemarie McCabe is board chair.
Cr McCabe said the independent directors - Simon Waller, Monika Winston and Liam Brobst - would help develop Myli's future strategy with their diverse experience and skills helping deliver quality services and programs.
Chief executive officer Leanne Williams said the newly created board positions would strengthen the service's ability to grow its impact in helping people connect, belong and learn.
