New CEO takes up at Community College Gippsland
Dale Gemmell has taken over as the new chief executive officer of Community College Gippsland.

A new chief executive officer has been appointed for Community College Gippsland.
Dale Gemmell, who grew up in Gippsland, has 12 years experience in the education and training sectors, strategy implementation and driving innovation.
His background also includes effective leadership, financial management, stakeholder relations and funding acquisition.
CCG has campuses at Warragul, Pakenham and Leongatha.
Board chair Marianne Shearer said Mr Gemmell's appointment was an exciting new chapter in the college's more than 40-year history of positively changing lives and enhancing social inclusion through education and training.
He also brings the benefit of his local knowledge, she said.
Mr Gemmell said his background had given him a passion for the region and the transformative power of education.


"I am an advocate for the not-for-profit sector and the power the college has to support those that may face barriers to achieving outcomes such as meaningful employment".


He said he was looking forward to working with the team and CCG and industry stakeholders to build on the college's reputation of delivering quality education outcomes.
