Netball watchers at Buln Buln to get some shade

Spectators of netball at the Buln Buln recreation will be able watch from in the shade.
Member for Eastern Victoria Harriet Shing recently announced the state government would provide $1559 to construct a marquee that would protect people from the sun's UV rays.
Ms Shing said the funding was from the Community Shade grants program directed at sports clubs, parks and playgrounds.
She said as well as money to build new shade structures government funding was available to repair existing structures, plant shade trees and buy protective measures including hats and sunscreens to protect against UV radiation.
