A woman allegedly recorded a blood alcohol level almost four times over the legal limit in Warragul earlier this month.
Police intercepted the 38-year-old Officer woman's silver Hyundai i30 in Howitt St just after 1.30am on Tuesday, November 1.
She returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.198 and her car was impounded at a cost of $1005.
She will appear at Latrobe Valley Magistrates Court at a later date.
