Local children had the opportunity to learn and play a wide range of instruments at a variety music workshops during the September school holidays.
Organised by Gippsland Symphony Orchestra, Warragul Municipal Band and Niels Bijl from Yarragon Studio, the workshops were designed to increase access to music education for local children.
Between Thursday September 26 and Wednesday October 2, a total of five music workshops were held, providing the opportunity to learn and play woodwind and brass instruments, marching drums, string instruments, the bugle as well as how to play collaboratively in a junior orchestra.
