The Baw Baw Shire Council are accepting expressions of interest from businesses and community groups to host events for this year's Seniors Festival.
In previous years, activities have included group fitness, aquatic classes, singing, dancing activities, bushwalking, gardening sessions, movie screenings and more.
The festival will take place in October, and as part of the celebrations, the Baw Baw Shire will produce a booklet promoting everything that's on offer for local senior citizens.
Baw Baw Shire Mayor Cr Michael Leaney said the Council are encouraging local groups and business to get involved and host an activity or event that caters to our over 60s community and celebrates ageing positively.
"The past two years has shown all the creative and diverse ways local group and organisations can come together to celebrate Victorian Seniors Festival and we look forward to seeing all the in person and online activities planned for this year," he said.
Anyone interested in getting involved and promoting their event or activity within the local Senior's Festival booklet is invited to email access.equity@bawbawshire.vic.gov.au by July 29.
