Grass fire in Drouin South

A grass fire started in Drouin South yesterday after a gum tree fell on powerlines.
Police said the gum tree knocked the powerlines to the ground on Old Sale Rd at about 8pm, and the grass fire quickly started.
CFA members attended the scene shortly after and were able to extinguish the fire and prevent damage to surrounding properties.
