Gary Hart spreads Christmas cheer in Drouin

Drouin resident Gary Hart attracted plenty of hoots as he waved to vehicles dressed as Santa on Christmas Eve.

After praising Mr Hart’s actions to bring joy to Drouin ahead of Christmas, local residents rallied together to purchase a new Santa suit for him to wear.

Residents praised Mr Hart for sitting in his wheelchair in the main street to wave to pedestrians and motorists over several days. His popular spots were near the Drouin Post Office pedestrian crossing or Drouin Memorial Park.

In turn, motorists tooted their horns to acknowledge Mr Hart and his efforts to spread Christmas joy after a difficult 2020.
