Festive spirit in Garfield

Garfield will come to life on December 16 for the town's annual Garfield Christmas Festival.
From 5pm, the main street will become the hub of Christmas cheer and community spirit, culminating in a fireworks display at the recreation reserve.
Festive spirit will spread through the town as the local community descend on Main St to enjoy live music, food stalls, late night trading, street markets, street performers, along with the street parade.
There also will be plenty of fun activities for the kids and a visit from Santa at 7.30pm.

The Garfield Football Club will be opening the social rooms on the night. Live music will keep the parents entertained, whilst the kids enjoy running around on the oval.
And, back by popular demand, the fireworks display will begin at 9.15pm at the footy oval concluding the family friendly event.
