Fatal collision in Jindivick

An 84-year-old man from Pakenham died in a single-vehicle collision in Jindivick early Sunday morning.

Police believe the Hyundai SUV was travelling along Jindivick-Neerim South Road when the car collided with a tree sometime overnight.
A passer-by discovered the crash at about 7.15am and called emergency services. The man was the sole occupant of the vehicle and died at the scene.
Police are continuing investigations into the circumstances of the collision.
