A 2.6 magnitude earthquake hit near Poowong East yesterday morning, however not many people have reported feeling it. 

The earthquake originated at 11.12am and reached a depth of 10km. It's recorded longitude was 145.86, and the latitude was -38.33. 

The epicentral time was 9.12pm, and Geoscience Australia has recorded only 51 felt reports so far.
