Driver flees Waterloo Rd accident

A driver fled from a vehicle after a collision in Trafalgar East on Friday morning.
Police said a vehicle with stolen registration plates was reported driving erratically before colliding with a second vehicle on Waterloo Rd at about 9.30am.
They said it had stolen plates, "ZAF 1KE", and was swerving across the road and overtaking at speed.
The male driver stopped and checked on occupants in the second vehicle, police said. He was then picked up in a silver Kia hatch.
The driver of the second vehicle, a 31-year-old Newborough woman, was taken to hospital with minor injuries. Her passenger, a three-year-old child, was not injured.
