The Warragul Community Garden will celebrate its 10th anniversary this Sunday with a plant sale and a number of exciting activities.
Located in Cambridge Drv, Warragul near Eastern Park, the Warragul Community Garden has been a place for locals to come together to plant, grow and harvest food and share knowledge and skills since its inception in 2014.
To celebrate the 10th anniversary, a plant sale, barbecue and variety of activities and workshops will be held at the Community Gardens from 10am on Sunday, October 20.
Between 10am and 3pm a number of plants will be available to purchase including herbs, tomatoes and flowers. Purchases can be made with cash or card.
Activities including a scavenger hunt, guess the number of seeds in the jar and making your own seed bombs also will take place between 10am and 3pm.
Speeches and a cake cutting will take place at 11am, followed by live music until 1pm.
A barbecue and coffee will be available and soft toys hand crafted by the Warragul Knitting Club will be available to purchase.
Bring a box or a bag for your goodies and support the Warragul Community Garden this Sunday.
