Police are hoping community members may be able to assist with investigations into what they described as a high-speed motorcycle collision.
The collision occurred just before 4.30pm on Wednesday, October 14 when two motorcycles were travelling west on Warragul-Lardner Rd, Warragul.
Police said it appears the motorcycles were travelling at high speed and as they approached the intersection of Danes Rd, one of the riders had an offset head on collision with a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction.
Police said the rider appeared to be injured but was able to get onto the second motorcycle and was taken away from the scene.
Police believe the second motorcycle returned a short time later without the injured rider before leaving again at high speed.
It is alleged both motorcycles were displaying fraudulent number plates.
Police said the motorcycle involved in the collision was a purple and silver 2001 Honda CBR RR and the other motorcycle was described as a green street bike (possibly a Kawasaki).
Police said both riders were seen leaving the scene on the green motorcycle and the rider involved in the collision had his right leg sticking out from the motorcycle, which suggested it was injured.
If anyone has information which may assist police in identifying either of the motorcycle riders, they can contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333000.
