Children's Expo in Warragul this Tuesday

A Children's Expo to encourage play and learning development among Baw Baw Shire's youngest residents will be held in Warragul this Tuesday, October 25.
The session, being staged as part of Children's Week, will be held at 12 George St in Warragul, next to the Grace Berglund kindergarten, from 10 am until 1pm.
Parents and carers are welcome to bring the children and enjoy a wide range of activities including face painting, play activities, sing-alongs and story times.
Council staff will be available to provide information on family and children's services available in the shire including kindergartens, family day care, immunisation sessions and maternal and child health services.
Mayor Michael Leaney said the expo would be of particular help to the many new and young families that had moved into the shire in recent years and may not be fully aware of the council's family and children's services that are available.
The theme for Children's Week, that runs until October 30, is "children have the right to a standard of living that supports their wellbeing and healthy development".
