Carols by Candlelight will make a triumphant return to the Keith Pretty Sound Shell in Civic Park, Drouin this Saturday at 7.30pm.
After a two year absence, the combined churches of Drouin are very excited to present Carols by Candlelight.
The carols is a family-friendly event for people of all ages to enjoy, often with a picnic or takeaway meal on the grass. It is an opportunity to sing along to favourite classic carols and listen to special items.
As always, Warragul Municipal Band will provide music for many of the carols. A range of talented locals will perform items and lead carols.
In addition, a short Christmas message will be presented during the night.
One of the organisers Tessa Martin said some of this year's incredible performers would be Billy and the Kid, Drouin Girl Guides, the McCaffrey family, Chairo Timbrels, Lyndon Calway and Rachel McPherson, Alistair Hood and Miriam Beamish, and Danielle Green and Valentine Rose, plus several other groups from local churches and schools.
"The Drouin carols promise to be a great way to kick start the holiday season with some Christmas spirit and family fun," Ms Martin said. "Roll out your picnic blankets, unfold your camping chairs and bring along your hot chippies for a wonderful night of Christmas festivities."
