Cardinia to recognise business effort during COVID

The support of Cardinia Shire businesses for their customers and communities during the two-year COVID pandemic will be celebrated later this year.
Mayor Jeff Springfield said although continuing to feel the impacts of the pandemic the Celebrate Cardinia Business 2022 event would give local businesses a chance to share ideas, connect and collaborate. It will also enable council to acknowledge their hard work and thank them for what they have done for the Cardinia community over the past couple of years, he said.
The event will be held on November 17 at the Cardinia Cultural Centre in Pakenham.
Businesses are being invited to submit a 30 to 45 seconds promotional video explaining what their business does and their greatest achievements over the past two years.
The videos that can be submitted until November 6 will be shown during the evening.
The new format replaces the previous Casey Cardinia Business Awards ceremony.
More information and registrations are available at the council website www.cardinia.vic.gov.au/celebratecardinia
