Buses will replace trains between Southern Cross, Traralgon and Bairnsdale services from Thursday September 15 to Sunday September 18, while works continue on the Gippsland Line.
Public Transport Victoria is advising passengers to allow up to 60 minutes extra for their journey by bus.
During this time works will take place on a new platform at Morwell, and electrical works will take place in Traralgon for the station's new accessible overpass lifts.
Following these works, trains will not stop at Bunyip and Longwarry stations through to Friday October 14, allowing station upgrade works to continue.
Shuttle buses will connect passengers at Bunyip and Longwarry with V/Line train services at Garfield and Drouin. A temporary timetable is available on the V/Line and PTV websites.
The Gippsland Line upgrade is intended to enable extra services between the peaks between Traralgon and Melbourne.
