Baw Baw YouthFest is happening now.
Throughout the school holiday period, a variety of activities for young people aged 12 to 25 are being held across the region.
Baw Baw Street Games, Djembe drumming sessions, family Tai Chi classes, All-Aboard Skateboarding workshops, pokemon terrarium workshops and Spring Blooms workshops with Meg Hayley are some of the highlights.
The event's started yesterday and will wrap up on Friday September 30. All activities are either free or low-cost.
In addition to the fun activities on offer, there will also be a free online information session on vaping (to be held tonight at 6pm).
Baw Baw Shire mayor Michael Leaney said it was fantastic to see that YouthFest is returning with in-person activities this year,
"The celebrations provide great opportunities for our communities' youth to reconnect in a variety of really fun and interesting ways. There really is something for everyone in this year's program," he said.
"We are proud to be able to provide such a wide variety of different events and activities throughout the Shire to cater for young people in Baw Baw, and I encourage everyone to get involved these school holidays".
A full list of programs can be viewed on the Baw Baw Shire Council website.
Registration may be required for some activities.
