Drouin and District Community Financial Services, the local shareholder body of the Drouin Community Bendigo Bank, made Christmas brighter for 18 district organisations.
The community groups shared almost $41,500 in the latest distributions through the bank's community investment program that has allocated more than $1 million over the past three years.

A presentation function at Drouin also served as a farewell to long-serving board member Kim Rees who stepped down at the annual meeting.
Mr Rees was on the steering committee that helped establish the bank branch in Drouin and was a board director since 2003.
He played a major role in establishing the service's new office building in Bank Place, Drouin.
Recipients of the latest funding were:
Warragul-Drouin SES: for personal protection equipment for members that use off-road motorbikes in rapid responses to emergencies.
Olivia's Place: sponsorship towards staging of 2022 charity gala event.
Blackbridge Cricket Club: new helmets for the club's players in the Mid-Year Cricket Association.
Warragul Camera Club: sponsorship of national exhibition and 50th anniversary.
Drouin Ficifolia Festival: sponsorship of the annual festival in February.
Drouin Secondary College VCAL project: to help raise 50 per cent of the cost of a new bus shelter in Ferris St, Drouin.
Warragul Cemetery Trust: defibrillator at Gulwarra Heights cemetery.
Drouin Cricket Club: 2022-2023 season sponsorship.
U3A Baw Baw: support for Seniors Week luncheon in October.
Drouin Bowling Club: sponsorship for 2022-2023 season.
West Gippsland Dance Festival: sponsorship of the 30th festival held last year.
Drouin Devils Basketball Club: new uniforms for players aged between eight and 18.
Drouin Combined Churches committee: sponsorship of carols by candlelight.
Longwarry Cricket Club: 2022-2023 season sponsorship.
Willow Rose Foundation for Diabetes: sponsor fundraising movie night.
Zone 6 Lions Clubs: support to stage district convention in Warragul next October.
Hallora Marathon: funds towards staging the event in December to raise funds for the Peter McCallum Cancer Centre.
Frankies Community Kitchen: funding to help it prepare unused food produce for food relief programs in the district.
