Warragul United women's team played host to Baxter on Sunday for a fiery clash.
Warragul started the better, with a few chances to Mercedes Ince. Unable to capitalise on the early dominance, United went into the half-time break 0-0.
Baxter, hoping to push for a promotion, came out after half-time with a point to prove. A missed penalty in the 80th minute for Baxter proved pivotal, as Warragul fought hard and held onto a 0-0 draw in what was a great result.
Coach Peter O'Dea was rapt with how hard the girls fought.
This result leaves United's women's team in fifth position on the ladder, with four games remaining.
It is a great effort so far in the team's first year in State League 4.
Best: Stef Creedy, Bella Lia and Bec Foulds.
