Students embrace science

Drouin Secondary College celebrated National Science Week with students embracing this year's theme, "Seeds of Science: Nurturing Knowledge for All."
Throughout the week, students explored science through a variety of fun, hands-on activities, including identifying different seeds, experimenting with static electricity using the Van de Graaff generator, observing specimens under microscopes, discovering the diversity of reptiles, decorating biscuits with scientific ideas, making shrinkies and testing their knowledge with science trivia.
The activities encouraged students to question, investigate, experiment and share ideas, while discovering that science is all around us. It was a fantastic week of curiosity, creativity and discovery, with students having fun while nurturing their passion for science.
