Paul and Gabrielle win title

The final of the Warragul Bowling Club mixed pairs championship was played on Wednesday.
The combatants were Paul Simmons and Gabrielle Draisma against Brian Kennedy and Lyn Morrison.
The first two ends were shared before Paul and Gabes got one and four to lead 6/1. Brian and Lyn won the next three ends with one, one and a big five to regain the lead, 8/6.
Paul and Gabes got two twos after that to lead 10/8 before Brian and Lyn got one and two to lead 11/10.
A three to Paul and Gabes and a one to Brian and Lyn saw the score at 13/12 with two ends to play.
Paul and Gabrielle won the last two ends to claim the championship with an 18/12 win.
