Neerim South will host the next Baw Baw Shire ordinary council meeting on Wednesday, September 14 at 5.30pm.
"It is always a pleasure when we have the chance to take our council meetings on the road and travel to other locations around the shire," mayor Michael Leaney said. "It provides a great opportunity for locals in the area, who may not otherwise find it convenient to attend a council meeting, to come along and participate."
As part of council's community outreach and engagement program, the council meeting will be relocated to Algie Hall in Neerim South. Interested community members are invited to attend, with no bookings required.
The agenda for the meeting, detailing the items, reports and attachments prepared by council staff to be deliberated by councillors during the meeting, will be released on Friday, September 9.
Those unable to attend in person, can watch a live stream on council's Facebook page.
All further ordinary council meetings will resume at the West Gippsland Arts Centre's Fountain Room on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 5.30pm, unless otherwise advised.
