Little Aths is back

Warragul Little Athletics opened its season at Geoff Watt Track on Saturday morning.
A break in the wet weather allowed the morning to go ahead, with athletes excited to be back competing in track and field events despite some difficult wind.
Alterations to the program were made, with hurdles and high jump unable to go ahead.
A new centre record was also set with Luke Rollinson surpassing the previous under 16 boys long jump mark by a massive 30cm.
The centre has reported strong registration numbers in the lead up to Saturday and is hopeful of continuing to build into the 2023/24 season.
