Despite a promising first half effort, Warragul Industrials couldn't match top side Tooradin-Dalmore in the special Anzac Day game on Monday.
Travelling to Tooradin, Dusties senior side was in the contest at half-time before the Seagulls flexed their muscles to run away with a 72-point win.
After a six goal to two opening quarter, Dusties put together a strong second quarter to trail 6.5-41 to 10.7-67 at half-time.
However, the Seagulls' defence held Dusties to just one goal in the second half, and it was game over. Tooradin won 18.14-122 to 7.8-50.
Mason McGarrity and Kane Taylor both kicked two goals for the visitors, with Dusties' best Kane Oldham, Todd Beck, Mason McGarrity, Nic Visser, Shane Brewster and Bailey Beck.
Tooradin-Dalmore sit top of the ladder after three rounds, with Warragul Industrials currently in seventh.
It was a game to forget for the Dusties reserves, held scoreless against the top of the ladder Seagulls.
A nine-goal opening quarter set the scene, before the Seagulls went on to kick 27.17-179.
Fighting hard for Dusties were Todd Watson, Mark Bradley, Arli Fleming, Alixzander Tauru and Thomas Vickery.
With no thirds game played, it was left up to the Dusties' fourths to provide the shining light - and they delivered.
The under 16s started spectacularly and kept their foot down throughout as the miserly defence kept the Seagulls scoreless.
William Brewer had a day out, kicking five goals, with Regan Awty and Joshua Bradley kicking four each and Cody Templeton chipping in with three.
Overall, there was 13 individual goal kickers as the Dusties scored 27.14-176 to climb to third on the ladder. Best players included Tom Cornwall, Alixzander Tauru, Noa Fogarty, Joshua Bradley, Benjamin Allsop and Campbell Gibbons.
It was a positive start on the netball courts, the two junior grades celebrating good wins.
The 13 and under team won convincingly 24-6, before the 15 and under Dusties team thrilled in a 22-21 win.
Tooradin-Dalmore proved too strong across the senior grades, Dusties' A grade unable to match the top side with a 23-68 loss.
The Seagulls also won B grade, 82-23, and C grade, 38-8.
The 17 and under game also saw a Tooradin win, 41-10.
Dusties will hit the field and courts after a short four-day break, hosting Korumburra-Bena at Western Park on Saturday.
