This Sunday Drouin speedway returns to action with the annual women's standard saloon feature event along with the "stand still" start race for open standard saloons.

Junior standard saloons, junior 1200cc sedans, sports sedans and unlimited sedans will all be in competition also, meaning lots of variety for fans on race day.
The women have supported the feature event with a number of great drivers listed to compete.
This year's Victorian title third placegetter Katie Meyer will compete in local race driver Darwyn Lee's car, and she will be in battle on Sunday with Caroline Allen, also a top five driver at the title. Elise Halliday, Michelle George, Sharlene Laidlaw, Jemima Borkowski, Maddison Miles, and Stacey Sheedy are also competing.
With the prestige of winning the only women's feature at Drouin for the season on the line, the action will be furious from the start.
Drivers in the stand still standard saloon race include Jeff Blencowe who continues to be the benchmark at his home track. Blencowe is always amongst the top five, if not at the very front of the field, however Drouin speedway continues to attract and be supported by tough competitors in the class.
And with Mark, Chris and Andrew Miles competing you know the battle is going to be hard fought.
Matt Leek, Tyson Cull, Darywn Lee, Luke King, Mark Borkowski and the returning legend Johnny Watson will make for an interesting day in standard saloons.
Sports sedans return for a skid at Drouin speedway with some great racing assured on Sunday.
Malcolm Knight and Anthony Knight are both capable of victory, with Anthony having wins against his name and Malcolm delivering a strong showing at Nyora at a recent event.
They are a couple to watch, as are the Kakoschke brothers, Bailey and Reece, while Katie Meyer was a winner at Nyora recently and she starts as a favourite again this Sunday. Peter Angus and Bernie Franklin are two others to watch.
Junior standard saloons has once again attracted a great line up with Tom Braz, a winner at Bairnsdale this past Sunday night, headlining a field that includes his brother Jack.
Also racing are Beau Stuchbery, a winner at Drouin already this season, plus the likes of Cooper Joynson, Bree Walker, Nathan Miles, also a winner at Drouin this season, Zoe Hunt, Tyler McDermott, and Logan Mair.
A tough line-up to pick a winner from, the action is going to be terrific.
1200cc junior sedans will compete the night before in Wangaratta and it is possible more cars may yet nominate to compete on Sunday. Ella Sheedy, a winner at Nyora recently, lines up against a small but tough field that includes Bryce Leek, Chase Doherty and Xander Baxter.
Rounding out all the events for the day are the powerful unlimited sedans. Daryl Nicolson, who proves to be very consistent at Drouin, leads a line-up that includes Gippsland legend Leigh Gooding, class frontrunner Anthony McKean and Troy Hutchison.
McKean has proven around Victoria to be in the top five of the class and starts as the driver to beat in current nominations.
Gates open from 8am. Racing from 11am.
Entry will cost $20 for an adult. Aged and invalid pensioners and children 12 to 16 are $15 each and Children under 12 years of age are free. A family ticket for two adults and two children aged 12 to 16 will cost $50.
