Drouin rue the rain

Div three saw just one match take the field for just over 30 overs of play in a highly-interrupted weekend of cricket.

Only 33 overs of division three cricket was possible on the weekend, and it was out at Bellbird Park, where Drouin's enormous first-innings total went to waste.
Defending 305, the Hawks lost a huge number of overs - partially to rain, partially to the spike-less Panthers as Yarragon were able to see out the little time that was required.
Sam Wyatt (1-8) will be ruing summoning the hurricane that lashed West Gippsland Friday night but was able to pick up a consolation wicket as Yarragon crawled to 2-53 before stumps were called.
