Drop into the Veterans Expo on Saturday

A Veterans Expo at the Warragul RSL clubrooms on Saturday will highlight the social and personal support available locally to all defence service veterans.
The much anticipated event is at last going ahead after a couple of false starts over the past 12 months due to COVID restrictions.
Veterans and family members from throughout the district are invited to drop into the clubrooms at 94 Albert St, Warragul, anytime between midday and 5pm to view displays and talk to representatives of many community groups as well as others specifically focused on support for veterans.
Those attending will learn about many of the programs already conducted by the RSL sub-branch including fitness sessions and other group activities, and informed about the health and welfare services available.
TAFE Gippsland, Men's Shed Association and Warragul Woodworking Group will also have displays and representatives to outline the benefits they can offer veterans, especially those new to the area and who have left the defence force in recent years.
