An enticing batch of matches is in the offering for round seven of the Gippsland League on Saturday.

An undermanned Drouin side will return home to face a Maffra team whose form has been patchy at best.

Despite still having their household names from previous years, the Eagles have been struggling to get the result and come into the match having lost an important match to Morwell.

The Eagles have now dropped two games and significant percentage from the five, and will view the match against the Hawks as must win.

Sixth-placed Drouin will also be desperate for the result. A win and a Traralgon loss to Moe would see the Hawks into the five.

Expect the match between the Maroons and Lions to be competitive.

While Moe will be looking to remain undefeated, Traralgon has produced some good form and an upset would go a long way to consolidating its aim of returning to finals.

Sale will be the latest side to see where it stands when the side travels to South Gippsland to face competition benchmark Wonthaggi, while Morwell will look to back up its win on the road when they host Bairnsdale.

Warragul will be tested again when it travels to take on 2019 grand finalist Leongatha.
