Trafalgar woman fined for attending anti-lockdown protest

A Trafalgar woman has been fined $5452 after she attended an anti-lockdown protest and posted images of herself on social media.

Police issued the fine after receiving multiple reports of the woman’s actions via Crimestoppers.

The 46-year-old woman was fined for attending an anti-lockdown rally in Melbourne on July 24.

Police said the woman later posted images of herself at the freedom rally on social media.

After receiving multiple reports about the woman’s attendance, police pursued the matter.

Police attended the woman’s property last week to question her.

She was fined $5452 for breaching the Chief Health Officer’s stay at home directions.
