Students learn lifesaving skills

Nilma Primary School students recently participated in St John Ambulance Victoria's First Aid in Schools program in recognition of World Restart a Heart Day.
Students across the school participated in age-appropriate, practical first aid sessions designed to build their confidence and knowledge in responding to emergencies.
Each homegroup explored a different standard module including story time; danger, response, send; airway and breathing; and, CPR.
Sessions provided students with practical skills that could one day help them respond confidently in an emergency.
