BULN BULN have moved a step closer to scoring redemption, breaking away in the final quarter in what had been largely a dour affair with Ellinbank to advance to the grand final.
Ellinbank had remained a chance in the low scoring affair, trailing by just 15-points at the final change, only for Buln Buln to break it open in the final term to win 8-8 (56) to 4-5 (29).
The Lyrebirds will now await the winner of the preliminary final between Neerim-Neerim South and Ellinbank, the Cats looking very much their threat again after scoring a big win on Sunday to bundle Trafalgar out in straight sets.
