Crows superior to Blues in slippery conditions

LONGWARRY proved too strong for Catani at home, displaying superior run and carry despite the slippery conditions to win 16-19 (115) to 7-11 (53).
The win and improved form gives the Crows a faint sniff, finishing the round joined with Lang Lang on five wins, two wins behind the fifth-placed Poowong.
Despite much of the first term played in driving rain, the Crows were still able to run the ball forward effectively to ram through six goals to one to open a handy buffer that would ultimately allow them to control the contest.
