Water and sewerage charges for Gippsland Water customers will remain steady over the next 12 months.
Acting managing director Nic Moss said the organisation was committed to ensuring bills remained below the inflation rate, despite the rising cost of living pressure.
"We understand the pressures the increasing cost of living can have on our customers, so we're working to ensure our water bills remain stable and affordable," Mr Moss said.
"We've absorbed some of the inflationary pressures to ensure customers weren't burdened with the full impact of increasing costs.
"This is part of our strategy to keep bills steady for longer and provide customers with exceptional services at a reasonable price."
Gippsland Water customers will see a 1.9 per cent increase to their bills, the second lowest increase across the 12 regional Victorian water organisations, sitting below the average increase of 2.6 per cent.
Mr Moss said customers struggling to pay their bills could contact the organisation for assistance.
"We understand that some of our customers may be struggling financially and we can provide help to those in need," Mr Moss said.
