David Wysocki’s photograph “New Pears” took out first prize in The Gazette’s 2019 Readers’ Photographic Competition out of more than 200 entries. Entries are now open for the 2021 competition and close on Thursday, May 30.

Pick up a camera and get creative with The Gazette’s annual Readers’ Photographic Competition now open.

After a year off, this competition offers readers the opportunity to publicly exhibit photography work and be in the running for a $100 first prize.

Entries are now open via email, with all photographs to be exhibited at the Warragul Camera Club’s 48th National Photographic Competition.

The exhibition is one of only three annual “national competitions” in Victoria and will be held at the West Gippsland Arts Centre from Friday, May 14 to Sunday, May 16.

The Gazette’s annual Readers’ Photographic Competition attracted more than 200 entries in 2019.

First prize is a $100 Roylaines voucher, second prize is a $50 Roylaines voucher and third prize is a $25 Roylaines voucher.

To enter, simply save each image with the photograph title and your name before emailing to photos@warragulgazette.com.au.  Please include a contact number in your email.

There is a limit of three entries per person.

Entries will close on Thursday, May 30 at 5pm – so get snapping!
