Fun run delayed

The Geoff Watt Memorial Fun Run and Festival will be held in December after being delayed from its regular October date.
Usually taking place on the last weekend of October, the event will be now held on Sunday, December 13 due to a restructuring of the company the festival uses for traffic management.
The festival will run as per usual, offering a series of events from 400m to a full half marathon.
A junior athletics clinic will be held featuring a number of experts, including former Commonwealth Games sprinter Gerrard Keating.
Event organiser Kathy Watt said it was a tough decision to delay.
"It's unfortunate but we had to move it, but the good thing is we're going ahead with the 57th edition which will be great," she said.
Ms Watt said the later date should hopefully provide better weather, given the runners will now hit the track during summer.
"We're hoping we get better weather than last year, that's for sure."
