Speak with local councillors and staff about issues of importance to you at Saturday's Warragul Farmers' Market.
The Baw Baw Shire pop-up session will run at Civic Park in Warragul from 8.30am to 1pm, allowing residents to speak face-to-face with councillors and council staff whilst exploring the goodies and produce on offer at the market.
It also is a chance for community members to learn more about the services and projects that council is currently operating across the shire, including upcoming free green waste disposal and a variety of community consultation opportunities.
"I look forward to the council pop-up programs as they come up every few months," Baw Baw Shire mayor Michael Leaney said. "These sessions are a great opportunity for council to learn a lot by directly engaging with our residents close to home."
Central ward councillors Joe Gauci, Danny Goss and Jazmin Tauru said they were looking forward to chatting with residents at the market.
"There is much for council to learn from conversations with residents through these pop-up sessions," Cr Gauci said.
Cr Goss said, "these sessions are a great way for community members to ask a question and find out more information about the things going on across the shire."
"Council's pop-up program is all about visiting our residents where they live and making it easier for them to get in touch with council," Cr Tauru said.
Following the Warragul pop-up, Baw Baw Shire's 2022 program will conclude at Tanjil South on Saturday, December 10.
The popular pop-up program will be back next year, with councillors and staff set to head to a range of different towns across the shire.
